Away from work I also enjoy reading fictional books, writing screen plays, socializing with friends and family.

Ukasha Ssenyomo

I have always had a profound feeling for story telling but I never had a platform that could help me express myself.

I am an observant and reserved person, which gives me an insight in the lives of people and what they are going through thus the inspiration for my stories.

As a storyteller I’d like to be a voice for the voiceless in cases of injustice, a mirror for others to reflect with and give either joy or hope. This thereby drives me to be more authentic, viable and dedicated to bring the best out of my work.

Tayo Shonubi

I am the youngest of five; I’m a baker, photographer and daydreamer. There are multiple avenues through which I express my creativity. I got my degree in Musical Theatre from The American Musical and Dramatic Academy in Los Angeles.

I’ve had the luxury of exploring different facets of the industry- I’ve been a performer for over ten years but I’ve also been a lighting technician, a music director and stage manager.

Most recently, I’ve developed a strong desire to write. This came from me not seeing the roles that I wanted to be in as an actor and not seeing the films I wanted to see as an audience member…so I decided to write them myself.

Mirembe Doreen

I am Doreen Mirembe. I am 29 year old actress from a humble background. I am a young woman who always wants to stand, fight for and on behalf of the voiceless mothers and young girls. I am a scriptwriter, determined hardworking and I love making friends and meeting new people. I am social and friendly Christian.

I always give or share the little I have especially with young girls and helpless women.

Eunice Acan

Apart from being a passionate filmmaker, I love riding bikes and hiking. It helps me think positively about life and I also read 5 books a year, my story telling is driven by my desire to discover more through adventure and articulate ideas from experiencing the tiniest details of moments of life as a whole. I am a passionate business woman who is good at priotizing the best exquisite developing ideas about business.

Joseph Innocent Ediegu

I am Ediegu Joseph Innocent born of an Itesot father and an Acholi Mum. Technically they’ll say am an Itesot but I love being an Acholi.

I love film very much and I want to a career in film. I joined the industry in late 2018 as an actor, attended audition after audition.

When I received no call backs from over 30 plus audition calls, I decided to learn other things in film especially in the crew section. I’ve been an AD, have done continuity, have been a gaffer, runner, set designer. Now am learning how to direct and produce films as well.

Kate Nafuna

Through her production company, Fortunate films, Kate has been able to produce one short documentary (Creative Under Lockdown) and two short films (Prince Charming and Stick To Your Guns)
